I made an appointment to have my frizzy/curly hair done with global keratin for 3 reasons:1) To determine if it is very toxic
2) To determine if it works to straighten my frizzy curly hair
3) To determine if it's rocket science or if I could do it myself
The outcome:
1) It's not overly toxic although I had to make sure the fumes from the flat iron didn't hit my eyes, but overall doable even if you're a barometer for toxins like I am
2) It did a nice job of taming the frizz but a poor job of straightening my hair (it doesn't claim to straighten only tame frizz)
3) It's not rocket science and if you can color your hair you can do this, so I bought it and have done it 4 times on myself and twice on a friend and I still have one treatment left
Overall:
I think it's a great product but I want straighter hair and 100% elimination of frizz and don't want to have to flat iron my hair so I bought the COPPOLA by Coppola: NATURAL KERATIN SMOOTHING TREATMENT and will post a review after I try it.
