This product comes from a reputable company, but really, there's not much help for splitting and peeling nails. The instructions say start with 2 coats and add a coat every other day for a week, then remove all layers and repeat. The problem is, before it's time for the third coat, all of my nail tips are bare because the first two coats have worn off, chipped, or (you guessed it) peeled off with my nails. So I started adding a little at the tips every morning. This polish seems to stay on my nails only where they are strong and whole, and won't stay on the parts that need help the most.I've only been using it for 3 weeks, and my nails are at least as bad as they were when I started. Even so, I trust OPI's name, and the reviews I read, and will keep using it for awhile.
